“Deep Sleepers” features Fox’s signature blend of humor and heart-felt emotion in moving song stories ranging from being alone on a holiday in “Red Wine and Blue” and the value of spending “Time" with the ones you love, to supporting our troops in “Hurry Back Home” and growing up with a single mom in “Making Her Proud.” According to Fox, “Every song on this CD is about a ‘deep’ personal experience that means a lot to me. The ‘sleepers’ reference comes from the fact that these aren’t radio songs and they were never intended to be – this is an album about some of the quieter life experiences that we all share on some level.”
“Deep Sleepers” marks Fox’s fourth release following “All Over the Place” (2005), the sold-out “Somewhere’s Waiting” (2002), and “The World In My Head” (2000). The 2003 CAMMY winner of Songwriter of the Year has been busy writing songs for Nashville producer Chris Estes and can be seen in current television commercials for Willie’s. Fox co-wrote “Freeze,” a top 40 AC Billboard hit recorded by TVT’s Pay The Girl and his work can be heard on NBC’s Today Show SuperStar winner, Anthony Campbell’s debut.
The Kevin Fox Band has logged performances in Chicago, IL; Jacksonville, FL; Charleston, SC; Madison, WI; Knoxville, TN; and New York, NY. As he has since his days at Sycamore High School, Fox, performs from five to seven nights a week when in Cincinnati and can be found at venues such as StrassHaus in Covington, R.P. McMurphy’s in Oakley, Stanleys and Allyn’s Café in Columbia-Tusculum, Adis in Beechmont, The Pub at Rookwood Commons, and Cheeseburger in Paradise in Eastgate.

Deep Sleepers

Great CD, very personal, yet lets others in. Has a passionate and warm feel to it. When a man plays from his heart, it just makes a good record.
