KLO's biggest success to date, "Green and Blue" has taken off worldwide. "Green and Blue" , currently spinning at radio station throughout U.S.A. has surpassed artists such as Coldplay and Maroon 5. Not too shabby for an independent band. The success of KLO's music has landed them two New Music Award nominations.
ABOUT THE BAND:
Kevin Lucas is a nationally renowned percussionist and marimba virtuoso. His honors include placing 2nd in the Nation for solo percussion at the 1997 Music Teacher's National Association collegiate performance competition in Dallas, Texas. He was a member of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps from 1992-1994, where he helped claim the DCI World Championship for the I & E percussion ensemble competition in 1994. Kevin was also the 1994 Drum Corps Midwest Individuals Keyboard Champion. He is a Three Time Winner of State of Illinois Composition Contests through MTNA (1995, '97, '98).
