"Clarity and Integrity in abundance" - Grapevine

Written initially for my kids, as an apology for my poor parenting skills with some words of encouragement and support, for any future moments of despair and angst they face, this collection of 10 songs appeared. The catalyst's for this outburst of songwriting were a Jazz gig in Edinburgh and the invasion of Iraq!!.
The music supporting the songs was recorded in Edinburgh, Spain and New Zealand between 2007 and 2009 and features some of Scotlands finest Jazz and folk musicians with musicians from Spain, Venezuela and Canada. The main Rhythm section for the album were : Kevin Murray - Guitar - Mandolin - Keys, Brian Kellock - Piano, John Rae - Drums, Mario Lima Caribe -Bass.
Guest musicians like Michael Marra - Backing vocals, Julio Magdalena Pacheco - Cuatro and Backing vocals, Fredy Sanchez - Drums and Christine Hanson on Cello brought an International musical dimension to the recordings.
