notes
Kevin Neal is the founder of Restoration House Ministries. He has been singing since the age of 5 and began playing keyboards and drums around the age of 16. Kevin began his ministry at the age of 15 and was recently led to establish a church-plant in the metro Atlanta suburb of Lilburn. Writing his first song when he was only 14, he began training and directing choirs both locally and internationally from the age of 16. He has shared the stage with such gospel artist as Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Kim Burrell, Keith Pringle, Byron Cage, Lacreshia Campbell, Rev. Richard "Mr. Clean" White, Benny Cummings, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark and the Clark Sisters, and many others. His musical influences include Fred Hammond, Rance Allen, Stevie Wonder, Clark Sisters, Brian Mcknight, Andre Crouch, Donnie Hathaway, Commissioned, Winans, and John P. Kee. Kevin's music is a smooth blend of jazzy Gospel, praise and worship, and inspirational music. Known for his silky balladeer style, Kevin is an anointed and powerful Gospel singer who sings with feeling and conviction. He has served as minister of music for several churches throughout the U.S. and Europe. Pastor Kevin faced a traumatic experience in 2001 that nearly took his life. Through a freak, unexplainable occurrence, his esophagus was severed!!!! The doctors could not explain nor understand why this had happened. This threatened not only his music ministry but also his life. While lying in intensive care connected to life support, the Lord assured him that his work was not finished. Miraculously he was healed and returned to ministry after his recovery. Not knowing if his voice would ever be the same, he knew that the music that had been birthed inside of him was not to be denied. And though his voice had somewhat changed, God worked wonders and he began work to release this CD in 2004. Pastor Kevin is extremely grateful to God for the privilege to at last present this God inspired music to each listener. Presently his time is devoted to ministry with Restoration House as well as through doors and venues that are opened throughout the Body of Christ. You will enjoy this CD as it has a wide variety of styles and flows with a "Fresh Anointing". This project was produced by noted songwriter, producer and musician, John A. Croslan II whose credits include; Dottie Peoples (producer/songwriter/MD),Yolanda Adams (songwriter/producer), The Pace Sisters (songwriter/producer/Musician) Fresh Anointing has been featured on several Gospel Magazine websites to include; www.gospelcrib.8m.com, www.ensoundentertainment.com, www.redchurchradio.com and www.crossrhythms.co.uk

Fresh Anointing is absolutely awesome!
author: LTCOverall the CD is a good listen. I absolutely love cut number 6, "Fresh Anointing". It is powerful and inspiring. I especially love the lyrics that have Jesus resting on the throne of our praises.
Excellent indie recording
author: Ray P.Kevin Neal has come out of nowhere with music that is inspiriring, uplifting and that gives hope to the idea of "real" music. He doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the major label singers, but the pure raw talent in his music speaks for itself. You can tell he really feels what he's singing. There's a sensitivity in his voice that draws you in. Kudos to this guy for doing a great job!!!!
Inspiring!
author: Laura T Lynch of Kweevak.comKevin Neal incorporates a variety of influences into his music ranging from gospel to secular. The eight tracks on Fresh Anointing are worship songs with jazz and world influences. Kevin is a "silky balladeer" who sings from the heart. Neal is a man of faith, therefore, God and religious issues are the themes of his songs. John A. Crosian II is the producer and programmer of the CD and is responsible for the majority of instrumentation. 'Now and Forever' is the opening song of worship. It blends jazz with spirited, world tempos. The song takes a number of turns from a psalm reading in which Kevin leads "magnify His name" and the chorale responds. Further into the song Neal shares a few words of wisdom. 'I Owe You' is an up-tempo song melding a funky groove with more solid preaching. Fresh Anointing is an appropriate name for this CD of inspiring music!
