Produced & Engineered entirely by Kevin Wayne. Album cover photography: Doug Luckey.
In 2010 Portland busker Kevin Wayne compiled these songs that written and/or recorded with a simple arrangement of Guitar, Vox & Harmonica. Using a Linux Ubuntu Computer he had gotten free for doing volunteer work with 1 microphone & Audacity recording software, the homemade album "No Use In Crying" was put together. Tracks #1 - 12 were on the first release of this album. It's being reissued today with tracks #13-15, which are newly added bonus tracks.
Two cover tunes grace the album: The 1st is the Rev Gary Davis classic "You Gotta Move" which has been covered by Sam Cooke, The Rolling Stones & Aerosmith. The other is Kevin's unique arrangement: A blues version of the hymn "Amazing Grace." Several of the songs were re-recorded with full instrumentation on Kevin's 2012 follow-up album "The Rose Of The Streets."
