Album Notes

Karen Fisher is a gifted singer/songwriter living in Midland, TX, where she currently serves in the worship ministry at Stonegate Fellowship. Over the last seven years Karen has been polishing her songwriting skills while releasing two projects: Just Like Me, in 2003, and her latest project, The New Has Come. Since her debut album released, Karen has had the opportunity to open for several major recording artists including Lincoln Brewster and the group Avalon.
Karen's soul-stirring lyrics and catchy melodies easily connect her to a wide range of listeners. She has performed anywhere from large outdoor festivals and church concerts to more intimate settings where she shares her stories and songs at various women's events.
Karen was a part of the 32nd annual GMA music in the Rockies in August of 2006 where she came home with 3rd place rankings in both the songwriting and vocal performance competitions. Karen is always excited about any opportunity she's given to share God's word through her music. As long as He's opening doors, she is more than willing to walk through them.
