Album Notes

Formed by singer/songwriter, Kevin Fox, with the intention of fleshing out some new material. Kevin Fox Band has overtime gelled into a cohesive unit of veteran east coast players.

Hailing from varied musical backgrounds, they soon found themselves united with a very specific purpose: to make straight-ahead, organic sounding rock n' roll. The kind of music they themselves missed hearing in today's rapidly changing market.

Built on a foundation of classic sounds and modern rock influences, their debut CD Miles Above the Mainland fearlessly leads the listener on a roundtrip tour of emotional highs and lows, dynamic musical forces, and unabashed lyrical expression.

Enjoy the ride!

REVIEWS

A little slice of heaven
author: Dale McClelland
I loved this album. The music is great and clearly represents the musical influences of the band, both melodically and instrumentally. The main vocals and harmonies are wonderful and haunting at times. The guitar work is dead on and the drummer is outstanding, a "rock" of consistency, as is the bass player. Songs like Letter to a friend remind one that it takes a great man to forgive, and that some men are just good men. I have listened to it more times than I can oount and highly recommend it.
