Album Notes

Kevin has enjoyed playing the trumpet with marching bands, brass and jazz ensembles, as well as playing solos at church events, weddings, community and school events. He has played for churches and other entities in Illinois, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Florida, and Delaware. Kevin has performed for several charitable organizations.

Kevin's background is in political science and government and has served in public administration in Washington D.C. and Chicago, Illinois. He received his Master's Degree in public administration in 1996. Kevin also currently works as an adjunct professor of criminology at a University in Illinois.

Kevin was assisted musically on two professionally recorded CDs by his daughter, Mary (2nd trumpet) and children Joesph, Elizabeth, Abigail, and Kacie (vocals-"Jesus Loves Me" and "My Country Tis of Thee"). Celeste Epstein provided the excellent piano accompaniment. Currently his family currently assists him as follows: Joseph-trombone, Elizabeth-French horn, Abigail-trumpet and vocals, and Kacie-vocals.

Kevin will be recording a new CD of Broadway/Movie Tunes sometime during 2009. He is also in the midst of writing a book about WWII veterans from St. Charles that will be published May 2009. He serves on the St. Charles Park Foundation Board and St. Charles Heritage Board of Directors. Kevin is excited as Sony BMG Prentice Hall has agreed to publish his recording of the Star Spangled Banner in February 2009!
