Album Notes

Most known for her work with We're About 9 (www.wa9.org), Katie Graybeal is a force unto herself.

Quotes:

"She has a warm and adaptive voice and an instinct for melody and harmony. She's also a terrifically prolific and engaging songwriter and a fountain of energy." - Acoustic Live! Magazine in NY

"A foray into seductively depressing Jonatha Brooke-style pop." - Carey Farrel, Song Circle Magazine

"I love Katie Graybeal's "Move Like Light" which attempts a delivery approaching that speed." - Angela Page, Sing Out! Magazine

"Katie Graybeal's cryptic Move Like Light is reminiscent of the quick lyrical passages of a Dave Carter song." - Audrey Engdahl, Takoma Voice

Her lush voice, charming presence and enigmatic songwriting are equally highlighted by her striking solo performances. Her new album, Move Like Light, showcases 10 original songs from this prolific lady.

I listened to this CD last night and again on the way to work this morning - I can't get enough of it! I love every single song - it's like Sarah McLahclan meets Indigo Girls meets Jewel. This is one CD that demands to be heard - and it should be!!

Beautiful soft voice
author: Charlie
This CD contains ten really beautiful songs and Katie makes something very special out of them with her soft and melodic voice. I just think that one version without any instruments would have been enough to show her singing skills. Nevertheless, the music is sweet and haunting and I am glad that I bought this CD.
