Album Notes

The long-awaited solo release of One of These Days by Kent Gustavson. With the expert hands of Micah Schonberg and Stolen Shack, Kent Gustavson has created a collection of tunes both ancient and new, mysterious and earthy.

Lush harpsichord and sultry jazz piano and upright bass blend in a strange, uplifting way, with the throaty voice of Gustavson's roots bluegrass singing. This is an album you haven't heard before, guaranteed.

Kent Gustavson was featured on National Public Radio's All Songs Considered in 2004 for his trio's debut album, Stolen Shack, and Live in Vermont with Micah Schonberg has traveled the world, reaching #2 on the country radio charts in Australia, and #34 on the country radio charts in Europe.

Excellent Folk CD. Pick up a copy today!

"One of These Days" is a masterful musical work. The CD is filled with excellent songwriting, musicianship, and vocals. Kent's voice is a great match for folk music, and the harmonies on this CD sound great. The production nicely captures the natural sound of the instruments and voices. The instrumentation is very interesting, with a variety of string instruments, including instruments that you won't find often in many mainstream CDs, such as harpsichord and upright bass. Yet the songs are very memorable and enjoyable with intersting chord progressions and hook-filled choruses. From the toe-tappin' "Sally Goodin," to the thought-provoking, harmony-filled "Pilgrim," the songs are captivating. If you enjoy folk, country, Americana, or even Christian music you will enjoy this CD. Pick up a copy today!
