Welcome all to the world of Amar Khalil, a hot new Soulful R&G (Rhythmn & Gospel) Inspirational Artist from the Music Mecca of Oakland California. Amar has teamed up with one of today's hottest young producer's, Jamie Hawkins, son of the world's famous gospel family Walter & Tramaine Hawkins, also, husband and producer of hit recording artist Sunny Hawkins.                    

Oakland, California native Amar Khalil came into his own in 2006 debuting his new album and music ministry. A Neo-Soul, Inspirational style that blends classic R&B and Gospel, and a whole lot of Silky Smooth Soul. Amar,an accomplished singer who can handle lead and background vocals and improvisation equally well, is an all-around talent as a songwriter, musician, dancer and actor. His rich vocals and harmony blends, favor the lyrical introspective and rhythm and blues approach reminiscent of his childhood favorites Donny Hathaway, the Jackson 5 and Stevie Wonder, to name a few.

The combination of music on this debut includes brilliantly written original material. With this being said, it is not difficult to understand why the smooth melodic sounds of "Where There's A Will There's A Way", make Amar a BayArea favorite, even among the discriminating listener.

This body of work celebrates a Beautiful relationship between a young man and his love for God, his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Amar is truly a blessed and special young man. A young man who has definitely had his share of ups and downs, but is not afraid of sharing his testimony with the world. Through fine songwriting and masterful music production, "Where There's A Will There's A Way" will engage listeners with every riff and chorus. His silky tones continually surprise listeners with just enough edge to keep them moving to the beat. Without question, he is an artist who cannot be categorized in just one genre as just when you think you've discovered his niche; he switches directions from contemporary to funk or R&B to hip hop-flavored gospel. Newly released, Where There's A Will There's A Way, has already received wide acclaim.  

A bonafide musical prodigy, Amar polished his strong vocal skills while touring the world singing with his accomplished high school choir, "The Castaleers." He solidified his professional musical relationship with the Bay Area music scene with repeat performances in the internationally acclaimed San Francisco musical revue, "Beach Blanket Babylon" and collaborations with some of the best and most successful entertainers in the music industry including background vocals, choreography and touring with Con Funk Shun member and successful solo artist, Michael Cooper and top female group En Vogue.  He has done session work with Foster/McElroy of 2-Tuff-Enuff Productions, jazz saxophonist J. Spencer, Dwayne Wiggins of Tony Toni Toné, Raphael Saadiq, rap artist Richie Rich and a host of other performers.

Amar has played clubs, concerts and festivals and has toured extensively throughout the US, Canada and Japan. He is currently touring the U.S. as lead vocalist of the platinum-plus group, Tony Toni Toné, receiving rave reviews in Japan and the U.S. and appearances on the BET Soundstage, the House of Blues and many other venues.
