Album Notes

I was born the seventh of eight children in Greenwood, SC. As a child, I was always rather shy and somewhat of a ‘book-worm.’ During this time, I was writing poetry surrounding topics related to me. Because of the fact that I really enjoyed using my expressive writings, I was motivated to build upon my ability to do so. I eventually translated my thoughts into musical content (writing and producing). My first musical credits came when I drafted lyrics for a contemporary gospel group, Brotherly Love. During the time of that rewarding experience, I began working on new material....some of which are featured on my 'Compassion' project. I feel that the musical content of this project will touch listeners in ways in which they are able to reflect on their own personal experiences.
