Karlus Trapp was born in the New York City, USA. Deeply influenced by Curtis Mayfield, Bob Marley, Traffic, and Jimi Hendrix, Karlus Trapp blends genres in a style that is powerful, pure, and distinctly his own. Whether he is performing at venues throughout the Northeast, entertaining troops in Latin America or serenading third graders with folk anthems his soulful and engaging performances are remembered long after the last note has ended.
Kahoro wa Kibochi was born at Kenyatta Estate in Nairobi, Kenya. He learned the Luo language from childhood friends and other young playmates. He is now a Kikuyu-American. He resides in New York City. He is a music student of Karlus.
