Album Notes

Kick Up The Dust is ready with their Debut album "Heroes of the Ships" an exceptional English/Irish Folk Collection. Kick Up The Dust formed in London during the mid 1980's at Brunel, The University of West London where a group of Ale loving muscians would play there version of English/ Irish traditional pub music all over London on into the late 80's. In 2006 Singer/Guitarist Dave Fishwick and Percussionist Peter Dyson got together at the acclaimed Studio West in San Diego to produce "Heroes of the Ships". Using original members from England and now Southern California as well as local Southern Californian folk musicians. The two have captured the rowdy high energy pub-like atmosphere that has kept this bands passion for playing alive into the new millenium and onto new areas.
