Album Notes

Kevin MacDowell is Kid Kazooey, the singing and swinging, one man band librarian! Though his Masters of Library Science has not landed him a permanent library job, his lifelong pursuit of music has sent him to libraries, schools, daycares, and other venues as a fresh, exciting, and uninhibited performer of music for children of all ages.
Not only does Kid Kazooey perform live as a one man band (check him out on Youtube!), he also plays all the instruments on this recording (though, not at the same time, thanks to the miracle of overdubbing... ask George Martin and the Beatles about overdubbing!)!
The songs on this recording were almost all written while working in the trenches at a Bloomington Indiana daycare, during walks, playtime, and naptime. They are therefore already tried out on the pre-school aged audience, and sure to please any 2-5 year old kid, straight out of the box!
