Kieskagato's new, self-titled album veers further into jam-jazz territory than the band's previous work. Gone is the Thom Yorke influence and much of the Space Age experimentation. The band has taken to utilizing horns and jangle-swing rhythms liberally, resulting in music that will likely appeal to jam-band fans for its adventerous spirit, even if that unfortunate descriptor doesn't quite suit Kieskagato. But, since calling your band "pop-soul-jam-jazz-funk-folk" is pretty much commercial death (even if the music is headed in an interesting direction), let's just call it pop.- Casey Jarman, Willamette Week

this album is one that you can take on a long road trip, play at low or extremely loud volume over and over and over again!! we know as we just did it :) thanks guys.. what nice harmonies those are on some of the tunes.. who are those ladies.. lol. love the album and you!
