Album Notes

Hey, my name is Kiira Bivens. I am a singer, songwriter, poet, artist, and a hopeless romantic. I started writing songs in third grade, believe it or not, about a boy who didn’t like me at all. I kept writing and singing my songs up until this very moment and I will continue to do so forever. I love music; I love creating. I did the American Idol thing. If you happened to see me that’s cool.I then proceeded to record my first professional demo in Nashville, TN. I didn’t let the people at American Idol stomp out my dreams, no sir. In Tennessee I recorded a great demo. This was a great experience and I will never forget it. I keep moving in steps. Step after step, trying not to miss a beat of this whole glorifying process. After Nashville, I recorded again, but this time I did it in Houston. Houston is my home. Born and raised. I keep writing and singing everyday.That’s my goal here: To write and sing and produce music that someone else can relate to, learn from, and not feel so alone by hearing it. I try to touch hearts, break hearts, heal hearts and explain things I don’t understand.
