Album Notes

Kill the King began in Seattle, Washington in 2005 with Kernzzz on drums and Shotz on guitar. The pair played on a semi-regular basis until they found D-Lo to play bass. With the lineup secured, KTK started to define their sound with its first demo released in late 2008. The next project, titled The Santaur Sessions, enlisted the guidance of local producer Seth Mathison. This three song release epitomizes the trio’s ability to play aggressive and fresh music, which has been described as “urban metal”. Ideologically, KTK questions the motivation and influence of today’s media and political regimes. KTK promotes extensively through a street team, skateboarding team, and a devoted fan base.
