Your album is coming out really soon, can we get the scoop for our readers?
We're hitting the street with it first, straight out the trunk for all the people that supported me since the beginning then we'll start exploring other channels. This is for all the people that been asking me for an album since my Pairalethol days and throughout out my 5Fith Coast affiliation when we gave you my underground hit singles Look at me and Chevy Music which was featured on the street heat of the week on Arizona's Power 98.3 radio station.
What will be the next single from the album?
Imma let my fans and friends decide that, I personally think all of them are singles (laughs).
Do you plan on hitting the road to promote the album?
Of course, but my first priority is to win my all my cities in Arizona before I can move forward. I have to take care of my backyard before I hit the road.
In your eyes, what is Chicano rap missing right now?
Me (laughs). I definitely think that any nationality will like my music. If you listen to my music, I'm not sounding like your stereo typical Chicano. My wordplay is a little more mainstream but I definitely am Chicano and proud of it, there's no doubt about that.
How do you plan to bring that missing ingredient to the table?
I'm coming more versatile than most. In my songs I can someone cry, jam out, go and ride or just chill. I also have a good story telling ability that's missing in rap nowadays. Put it to you like this, buy my album and I can put money on it that this is one of the best Chicano albums to ever come out.
