Kilsy - is the eclectic siren who plays with ultra-gifted bassist Dan Green and local mainstay drummer Brad Gunyon - and she's got this tough sounding guy on ANOTHER bass - Michael P. The collaboration of all things different makes the perfect recipe for the unique sound of NO GUITAR - in their live performances. Combining her interest in early 80's synth-pop/new wave music and today's new garage rock revival - she realized that stripping down to a drum and two bass formats would provide a simplicity in which she could best express herself. When KILSY performs, you hear the sultry vocals, pulsating drumbeats and throbbing bass-line. Completing the sound is a melody that usually comes from a guitar or keyboards, but is actually another bass! - leaving you wondering if you are somehow at a Joy Division/Le Tigre double bill with Blondie. Their compelling combination of new rock mixed with the classic edge of 80's new wave and punk that so many bands have been searching for, both astounds and intoxicates fans and critics alike. Kilsy becomes more than just a drug. This sound is the heart and soul of what we've all been looking for. www.kilsy.com

I've been on a quest for new music...Kilsy's Show Me Off definitely fit the bill. Some tracks remind me of Jefferson Airplane--that somewhat new age psychedelic sound. Love it, and have actually managed to get a couple of friends to like it too.

i love the first track. very catchy and rhythmic. i love the siouxsie sound with the bjork effect. not an easy one to do well.. but Kilsy does it. i just hope she's actually british and doesn't just sound like it.
