Album Notes

Kim Edwards is a Pennsylvania-based pianist turned singer/songwriter. She began taking piano lessons at 4 years old and grew up listening to a healthy dose of everything from The Beach Boys to Mozart to Billy Joel. Fast forward 17 years later, and she has whipped up a small batch of songs for your aural taste buds to test.

Kim will be the very first to tell you that she is lousy at writing her own bio, especially in third-person…like right now. But she sincerely hopes you enjoy the 4 songs on this EP. They were inspired by dear friends, rainy days, city streets, and ancient Books.

Recorded in Dallas, Texas, at Spaceway Studios with producer Will Hunt (Bethany Dillon, Shane & Shane, Amy Lee), and at Christ for the Nations Institute with Ken Calderon.

Can't wait to hear more from Kim...It Was Me!!!

This CD has talent written all over it. There is a style and simplicity to everything about it. From piano and cello to thought provoking lyrics, I am truly blessed and my heart is quieted as David soothed King Saul with his harp. The song that has spoken to me most…at least right now…is titled “It Was Me” and it uses a real life situation to make you see the constant love of our Savior. “Another rainy day in New York City” sets the stage for this song as she sheds light on the cry of Jesus for you to realize “It Was Me.” Way to go Kimi! Can't wait to hear more from you.
