Album Notes

"The Mighty and The Iris," Kim Krenik's debut CD, was released in 2001 and is an ecclectic project which shows off Kim's ability to write in various genres and sing in a variety of different styles. The songs are in a singer/songwriter veign mostly. This project is definitely Film/TV friendly, and Starbucks-compilation worthy.

Kim's Sophomore Project, "Lover of My Soul" was released in 2003. Kim worked with her local band of SF Bay Area musicians to do a worship project with various singers and writers. This project also includes familiar choruses sung in contemporary worship services throughout the world.
Produced by Jonathan Johnson in San Jose, CA, this project is available on CDBaby.com

Kim recently recorded her third project in Nashville with Producer John Pisciotta. She co-wrote with John and his wife Robin (AKA Robin Welty), and they came up with the song, "Call Me Crazy". John also produced Kim’s song "The Lion" - a fan favorite. Both of these singles are being added to radio rotations Nationwide since the October 2005 release. You can download these tunes on most any digital store online, including i-tunes and bordersonline.

Kim’s sound has been compared to the mainstream band No Doubt and to CCM artists Leigh Nash and Natalie Grant. She currently resides in N. California with her husband Rob, and two children - Nathan and Keira.
