ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Not the First Girl is the sophomore album by Canadian singer-songwriter Kim Reimer. Once again Kim demonstrates her songwriting and vocal prowess with 10 outstanding new songs skillfully performed and recorded. There is a well blended mix of up-beat pop-country gems with songs about life and love, travelling and homecomings. From a song about Manitoba's famous "half way tree" to the bluesy rocker "Tennessee," or the beautiful tearjerker "Human Race," Kim's sound is a result of her many influences. Artists like Fleetwood Mac, Jewel, the Dixie Chicks, and Sheryl Crow have played a strong part in Kim's growth as a songwriter and this album continues that tradition.
