This is what would happen if you locked up Led Zepplin, Kate Bush, Annie Lennox, Sting & Jefferson Airplane in a room together and told them, "Okay...CREATE!" Now doesn't that sound interesting? WEll, it IS. Intelligent, impassioned lyrics weave through an ethereal swirl of Eastern-influenced melodies over a thundering rock base.
Kim Collins is a gifted songwriter and singer who has managed to dig up the world's best band (including cello & violin) and together create captivating, moody, intense, melodic tunes that just GIT YA.
She's a hit on MP3.com, shooting straight to the top 10 of the international alternative charts, and remaining there on a regular basis.
Kim's Fable is also getting radio airplay from WRLT Lightning 100 in Nashville with her single "Cold Hearted" from her debut album "Breathless" which can also be found here on CD Baby.com and also "Be Your Own Human" from the new limited edition EP.
The band is in the studio right now completing a full length album recorded by legendary engineer/producer, Roger Moutenot. (Lou Reed, Paula Cole, Guster, Gipsy Kings, Yo La Tengo, just to name a few.) Release date is yet to be determined.
