Album Notes

THIS IS KiNDERGARTEN:

The city streets come alive at night. They stay awake throughout the day. They see buildings crumble and others grow. They see bums getting hit by buses. They see detached businessmen and happy hookers. Masked Vigilantes, mysterious grey matter. Most importanly, the city streets see good people. Good people losing good things, good people struggling for an ounce of beauty in their lives, and good people who need to be reminded to keep going no matter what. Kindergarten is here to tell the tales of the streets.

"This IS the New York sound that has been missing since the late 70's!! K-GARTO uses the latest in State of the Art songwriting technology, combining obscure twists and turns with places of comfort and familiarity. All the while, maintaining their nostalgic, gritty funk/punk roots, pooling their influences from the likes of Talking Heads, Television, Elvis Costello, AC/DC, David Bowie, Lou Reed, The Cars, Prince, etc. The lyrics are always meaningfull and never boring. The music will make you think, bop your head, or just maybe, dance the night away."
