King Chubby is a cooperative Ambient band. Our music, completely improvised, is atmospheric, rhythmic, sensuous, funny, high tech, low tech, no tech. The mix of electronics, percussion and home-made instruments, and flutes large and small is one aspect. The interaction of personalities is by far the more important.
King Chubby's music is absolutely unique, yet feels as if it has always been there, in your imagination. Whether its voices from the ether, soaring flute lines or primal drumming, King Chubby speaks to the body, the mind and the spirit.
Other Times was recorded live to two track. What you hear is how the band sounds in its trio incarnation.
