Jim King's soulful sounds have been burning up Southern California for over 25 years. A native Californian, Jim was born in Lake Arrowhead and raised in coastal LA area. Prior to Aunt Kizzy'z Boyz, Jim Played in numerous blues bands including Maxx, Tonnage, Holy Smoke, R.M.B.P., and King James and the Blues Testament. "His stripped-down approach reveals an uncanny soulfulness that's almost unnerving in its
depth and effectiveness."
Grooveyard Records states:
“Excellent debut studio disc from this awesome, obscure blues/rock guitar slinger from California featuring an amazing, superb eleven track Peter Green musical tribute. Deep burning blues
licks, killer extended solos…”
He has performed with Alex Ligertwood (Santana), Chuck Kavooras (The slide God), Gary Malliber (Steve Miller), Tommy Ere (Joe Cocker) and many others.
