Based in Farmington Hills, MI and brand new on the dance music scene, The King Midas Project is the brainchild of Waynebo - an experienced hip-hop engineer/producer whose secret, long-time love affair with electronic music has now come out into the open. The first fruit of this love affair is “Goldfinger Vol. 1: 100% Pure Dance Music”. This is a straight-up, bangin’ collection of house jamz which includes dance remixes of some of the R&B tracks done back in the day. Downtempo/Chillout fans will also enjoy “The Afterglow EP” which actually made it to the market first courtesy of Cosmic Playroom Records. Coming soon is “Sonic Landscapes” – a unique and aggressive set of downtempo beats & textures.
