Four talented young singers from Aberdeen, Scotland, released their second commercial EP recording, "As Christmas Day Draws Near" for Xmas, 1996. The collection, featuring four new delightful songs for Xmas, is aimed at music lovers young and old.
The lead track, "As Christmas Day Draws Near", with young Joshua singing the solo, highlights the plight of street orphans in different parts of the world. It tells the story of a young street orphan boy, called Paul, writing a letter
to Santa Claus.
The King Street Kids are Paul Black, Jenny Love, Gillian Walker, and Joshua Anderson Wright.
