the kingston trio is the biggest selling folk group in history. when original member dave guard passed away and original member nick reynolds took a temporary leave, they were replaced by george grove and roger gambell, respectively. in joining original bobby shane, the new trio produced a sound indistinguishable from the original . both sides of volume 1 includes many of the trio's biggest hits and being able to compare them to the originals is a tremendously vital experience-a must for fans of folk/accoustic and especially the kingston trio
