Album Notes

Kinley is a career musician, primarily as a conductor and composer of choral music which is performed internationally. His work as a church musician brought him into contact with the contemplative traditions of Taize, Iona and other monastic communities, and this CD is the result of many years of involvement in that style of music. The songs on "The Pathway" are composed and arranged to honor the mystery of spirituality- to invite the listener into an "unknowing" that is both peaceful and energizing. There is no evangelism here- just new sounds around ancient and evocative words.
