Socially aware Persian lyrics set to Blues/Rock music.

Kiosk is a reunion of old friends made possible by the internet and digital recording. The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered in various basements and home-studios around the world.

The lyrics and music were all written by Arash the "Adameh Mamooli" , and are based on his personal experiences and sociopolitical observations.

Translated excerpt from Track 3 - "adameh mamooli (ordinary man)":

Don't want to be in love, if it ends in separation
Don't want to be rich, if it costs my liberation
Don't want to waste my life becoming famous
Just want to be myself, an ordinary man
(Let's see if you leave me alone)

Translated excerpt from Track 9 - "jaddeh khoshbakhti(road to happiness)":

The road to happiness is under repair
Turn around and drive back, it's called fate
The relationship bridge is under construction
Provisioning the budget, project's in a pothole

Reviews:

"If you like your music fine and dandy, and happen to like your head where it is, namely buried in the sand, this album is not for you. Simply move along, and keep on 6/8-ing your decadent ass off. But if you miss having ample doses of rough harsh truth in your music, and more importantly, can handle it, this is one of the strongest efforts put forward by anyone so far. Maybe too strong for you."

I have everything that this genius group has done, they are above (may be equal) to Mark Knopfler...., But my point here is where is CD availability fro this talented/skillful/intelegent group's work??!! As three days ago their new album (Natejeh Mozakerat) was released, my friends & relatives are asking for not only N.M., but for adame mamolee, eshgh e sorat & others. PLEASE HAVE THEM always available Like LED 4 & 5, Eagles Hits, Cat's early work, U2, Mark's & Dire Straight, Sting,,,,,,,, and other great musicians at all the times.......

This is the First Iranian Pon-Rock album that I have ever enjoyed listening to. The whole thing is absolutly professional. They are so talented, and songs are so great, and well writtena nd performed. I can easily say if he (Arash ) sang the songsin English they could be famous around the world and be millioners. I think we should take Arash (the singer and songwriter) so serious. He is great. Highly recomanded. Thank you CD Baby!!!
