Cabin Fever
Kris Kolp is to modest to sing his own praises, so allow me to do the honors. The amiable guitarist/singer/harmonica player for local band Full Black Out ( http://www.fullblackout.com ) is a veteran of Jess Franklin & the Best Little Blues Band and the head honcho of local recording outfit Log Cabin Studio. Kolp's talents as a musician and producer/engineer come together on his solo CD, "Kip Kale's Log Cabin Music," a very tasty, highly listenable, finely crafted set of nine songs featuring some stellar musical cohorts. Franklin is there providing slick, hot slide guitar, Jason Fuller and Tony Giordano pitch in on piano and organ, the sublime Avis Berry lends her lovely voice in support and Kolp is all over the place on guitars, vocals and smokin' harmonica. The music is a booty-moving mix of funk, rootsy rock, deep Delta blues and alt-country. Get your very own copy and congratulate Kolp in person at an upcoming FBO show! - Katie Schardl, Tallahassee Democrat

Catchy melodies, good mix, toe-tapping Southern-style music!

I'm very glad I took a chance on Kip Kale's Log Cabin Music -- just the little snippets of the tunes that would play intrigued me, and I was not disappointed by the complete CD! Catchy melodies, good mix of songs. I'm really enjoying Kip Kale's toe-tapping Southern-style music!

Feel good music
author: Colin in the UK
This CD kicks off with the great track Good Music which brought a smile to my face and my feet tapping and thinking of Sheryl Crow. Unfortunalty the last two track - while very good - are the wrong tracks to end with as i felt a bit sad and empty. Having said that this is well worth buying, Gonna Getha is my 2nd fave track with The Levee 3rd. A great combination of blues, country, rock and turntables!
