E FOR EVERYONE is the second offering from Seattle based nerd-rockers KIRBY KRACKLE, and delves further into the band's love of comics, video games, and everything pop-culture has to offer.
After the success of their debut self-titled album in 2009, KK returns to what they do best with a harder edged but still extremely melodic sound and song subject matter ranging from a day in the life of a vigilante in "Secret Identity," to spending a party fueled weekend with your favorite Saturday morning cartoon girls in "Roll Over". In the song "Dusty Cartridges & Long Boxes", the boys from Seattle set the stage for what might be the nerd love song of 2010 as a couple professes their love for one another while playing video games, bagging comics, and sipping on IPA's over a delicately picked acoustic guitar. In "On And On", the song tears through chugging bar chords with singer Kyle Stevens taking the narration role of Marvel Comic's X-MEN character "Wolverine" as he describes the busy schedule he keeps as one of the company's hottest characters.
