Will acheive legendary status.

After purchasing Kirk Fletcher's FABULOUS debut CD called "I'm Here & I'm Gone"(JSP label) back in 1999 i approached this 2004 release with trepidation thinking 'surely he can't pull it off again!'
I was wrong. He got even better!!
His debut album featured a horn section but this one is in Charlie Musselwhite Chicago-style mode with earthy harp/vocals from Kim Wilson as well as vocalists Finis Tasby & Janiva Magness.
Every track is superb and Kirk holds the tension keeping you on the edge of your seat with some of the most imaginative Blues guitar that i've heard for 30 yrs.
So many legends come to mind when one hears Kirk play...Hollywood Fats, Buddy Guy,Johnny Guitar Watson, Freddie King,Albert Collins, Otis Rush and soon i think Kirk will join the list of legends.
By far the best thing to occur with the Blues genre for along while.
I'd give this one 10 stars!

I have Kirks three releases and they are all great. He's
been in some good company of artists such as Kim Wilson
and Finnis Tasby. His age is not a shocker, but his depth
and wisdom and knowledge of music I've been singing for over
50 years, is. He plays the BLUES the way I feel, straight
from the heart. Waiting for more great BLUES from KIRK.
