Album Notes

Kitty’s debut album reflects her sense of tradtional music as well as her bluesy side with songs like a rendition of the classis Furry Lewis number, “Turn Your Money Green”, to her own very trad-sounding, haunting song “Make My Bed Mother.” Produced by the iconic artist Joel Mabus, the recording utilizes some of the best musicians around Michigan in the late 80’s. “...a marvelous first effort...literate new songs.” Sing Out! “...her professional polish makes this, her first album release, shine. Kitty’s singing [is] rich, flexible, soaring, haunting...one of those rare voices.” Victory Music Review

Farmer in Florida

We heard you years ago in St. Joe, MI and just recently in Grand Marais. You are still fantastic!!! We bought 2 alblums at the art gallery, but wished we had this one. So, CDBABY to the rescue. Know you give others pleasure by your easy, enjoyable style. Will have to find a concert with the "Biddys" (sp?) to attend. Thanks for making life nicer. Nancy
