Album Notes

Sky Blue Door is a collection of soundtrack music written and recorded by Kit Walker in 2008. Inspired by several years of composing and performing music for the 8 hour mystery play, The Mummery Book, by Adi Da Samraj, the compositions are a blend of neo-classical and ambient harmonic content
mixed with electronics and world instruments. The mood of the album is symphonic, mysterious, mystical, and is a journey into realms beyond time and space.

The Mummery Book is a multi-dimensional teaching parable about the mystery of existence and God-realization, and as such goes beyond any conventional interpretations of what is spiritual or sacred. The intent of the composer has been to express musically the depth and passion of the process of life and spiritual realization, as portrayed in The Mummery Book. The Sky Blue Door is the doorway to Eternity, through which one disappears into the Divine Reality. This music is an offering to the Primal Conscious Radiance in which all conditions arise spontaneously.
