author: Denise BehrSweet, saxy, sassy, jazzy, sultry, romantic...I am running out of words to describe Konstantin's music. He is an amazing and brilliant artist and all the tunes are sensational. It's hard to pick a favorite. I love it all, even the vocals. Back it Up and So Lovely just wets your appetite. Led by You, Ocean of Joy and Stay Romantic leave you wanting more. It's music that you will never get tired of and truly takes the edge off a long day. I first learned of this artist listening to Music Choice on cable, found him on the web, and the rest is history. A must have for any CD collection!!

author: Smoothjazz.com ReviewIf music is indeed the universal language then Konstantin (pronounced Con-stan-teen) can surely be considered one of its top goodwill ambassadors. Educated in the Ukraine and Holland, he has also spent time touring throughout Europe and South America. His classical roots were expanded and his musical direction altered when he first discovered the jazz of artists like Sony Rollins and Charlie Parker in his college days. Once exposed to the musical skills of such renowned artists as David Sanborn, Al Jarreau and George Benson there was no turning back. An extended journey to Venezuela brought Latin grooves into the picture and once again the influences were incorporated into Konstantin's repertoire. The project's first single, "Back It Up" opens the album and it is obvious from note one that Konstantin has learned his lessons well. There is a huge hook that grabs the listener and doesn't let go. The arrangement of horns (sax, trumpet and trombone) gives the track a richness and warmth that is utterly compelling. With its lilting melody and subtle sax tones, "So Lovely" is just that. Mitchell Brunings offers the quintessential smooth R&B style vocals on "Haven't Got The Heart," while Konstantin's sax floats effortlessly alongside. Another catchy and appealing tune, the title track solidifies Konstantin as an up-and-comer to keep a close eye (and ear) on.
