A fabulous combination of intelligence and fun!
Dave Kleiner and Liz Pagan have nailed it again! Their last CD, The Salesman, is one of my favorites... and after almost 10 years, my CD player was getting quite tired of it. (Yes, it's on my iPod too.)
The songwriting on Stuck Inside New Jersey is outstanding. Dave's sensitive side tugs away on "If I had a home", "Little Piece of Me", "Drainng my Pool". The funny ones are so strange ("Dutch Colonial), so true ("Wallet and Keys") and just ridiculous ("Belly"). And Dave, Liz and the band hit a musical home run on "Salem County" and "Two Reasons". Thank you Dave and Liz (and it's about damn time!)
