Karin Leitner - Flute

Karin Leitner was born in Vienna. She gained diplomas at the Academy of Music and Arts, Vienna with Prof. W. Schulz and at the Academy of Music Freiburg, Germany with Prof. R. Aitken and participated in Master classes with Peter Lukas Graf and Robert Aitken.
Karin has won numerous competitions including Jugend Musiziert, Musica Juventutis, Forum Junger Kuenstler, and Talentinum.
She has performed in solo concerts with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra ,Capella Istropolitana Bratislava, Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Vienna Mozart Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra Hradec Kralove, Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre Filharmonique de Besancon, Rousse Philharmonic Orchestra and Lublin Philharmonic Orchestra.
Other solo recital locations include the main concert halls in Austria (Konzerthaus, Musikverein Golden Hall, Brucknerhaus Linz, Carinthian Summer Festival), Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, England, Wales, Ireland, Iran, USA, China, South Africa, Switzerland, Holland, Hungary, France and Italy and concerts on the luxury cruise ship MS Europa.
She was a tutor at the Sandor Vegh Symposium for woodwinds in Austria, and has given workshops and master classes in China, Iran, South Africa, Nepal and India, Ireland and Northern Ireland. Karin was under contract for the Stage Orchestra in the Vienna State Opera and plays Principal Piccolo in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra and London Mozart Players,London Gala Orchestra, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables,.... .
She has made CD Recordings (Music of Great Irish Houses, Soulalignment), TV-recordings, interviews and Radio broadcasts in Austria, France, Hungary, South Africa, UK, Ireland and the Czech Republic.
She has also composed 2 new CDs for flute, harp and string orchestra, which are released shortly.

DUCCIO LOMBARDI - Harp

Duccio Lombardi is one of the worlds leading hearpists, he played with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (Zubin Mehta), at the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival , with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the RAI Orchestra in Milano, St. Cecilia Rome and La Scala in Milan.
He was a prizewinner of the 13th Internat. Harp Contest in Israel and several other Italian competitions. He won scholarships of "Manhattan School of Music" NY, "Boston University","Manness Conservatory" and "New England Conservatory", USA

He performed as a soloist at the Int. Festival Besancon, France , Vienna Musikverein/Golden Hall (Vienna Mozart Orchestra) in Guatemala City (Gran Teatro Nacional M.A. Asturias), Chamber Orchestra Salzburg and with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra.

He performed at international festivals at chamber music concerts:"Music in Great Irish Houses”, Wexford Festival, North Cork Music Festival, „Notturni sul Lago“, „Verbania in Musica“, „Piemonte in Musica“, „Milano Giovani“, „Savona concerti“, „Conservatorio di Cuneo“, „Accademia di Musica Italiana“ in Pistoia, „Accademia Musicale in Chigiana“-Siena, „Rubin Academy Tel-Aviv“, Israel, Music Series in Chateau Villersexel
