A migration From A to Z.

I originally heard Kline on a limited release compilation entitled Elevator Music (Paradoxical Sleep, Telegraph, etc.). He has managed to successfully integrate his (incredible) technical proficiency and his desire to express a musicians soul. If one chooses to hear an idiographic exploration put-forth as a puzzle for analysis...they can. Or the listener can simply sit back, turn it up, and enjoy the journey...they will.---damn good.

The guitar paying is masterful, the arrangements are well thought out, the compositions are fresh and original, AND the lyrics are touching and sincere. I've listened to this CD over and over, and it gets better every time I hear it. I LOVE IT!!!! Hope to see more from John Kline soon.

Incredible!!!!

At first listen you can tell how much love and work went into each tune. Musically, guitar tech and tone, orchestration and songwriting ability leap out and speak very high volumes in an instant. Though this is a guitar album, it's unlike any guitar album I've ever heard. This one introduces a mood and takes the listener on a journey. Though John is quite a guitar virtuoso, this CD is not about "look what I can do on guitar." It is VERY tastefully done and inspiring, yet loaded with guitar chops to die for. A must buy for everyone.

Excellent!! A dizzying panoply of guitar stylings. From quiet acoustic pieces to the Morseian shred of "Copper Goblins" there is something for everyone. The fusion of intellect and intuition is truly something to behold!
