ABOUT

collection of Swedish composer Fredrik Klingwall's work over the last decade (1997-2007). From the very first darkwave demos to later filmmusic scores, alongside lots of rare and unreleased songs. With a strong leaning towards the cinematic and neoclassical, his music is dark, eerie and uneasy but with a beautiful touch. Limited to 500 copies in a 6-panel digipak.

“Chronicles in decay” is a 100% soundtrack composition where ambient influences and neo-classical ideas are melting together. I like some of the piano and organ parts, but more than any particular instrument and/or sound I especially like the dark, dramatic expression of this production.
