Album Notes

KMB is the creation of founder Ken Wells and his partner and girl friend Melina Winget. Ken and Melina started KMB sometime in early 1999. Since then the band has been meet with tremendous success. The band's success has even led to the launch of a record label named KMB Records, which, of course gets its name from the band.

KMB is most known for their unique sound and psychedelic style. The band is highly influenced from the sounds of the 60's including bands like The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and The Mamas and The Papas to name a few. More modern influences include acts such as Dido and Mazzy Star. These sounds of two very different eras collide to form the bands unique psychedelic sound. All music and lyrics of KMB are written by Ken Wells and Melina Winget and all recordings of the band are produced by them as well.

In April of 2002 the band is to release its first full length album "For Now & Forever". For Now & Forever is a collection of ten songs that the band has been working on since it started in 1999.

KMB is a band with a long future ahead of it. The band's success has been so overwhelming that it has even led to the creation of a record label named after it. KMB's style is at times British while still American. Songs like "Love is in the air" start out slow and then knock you right off your feet, while others, like "In the End" take you off to dream-land. Within time, "For Now & Forever" will surly be considered as a classic masterpiece!
