Album Notes

Chilu Lemba of Broken Hill magazine writes:
“K’millian’s music is a collection of some of the best contemporary R&B songs in vernacular that I have heard yet. I have listened to the songs over and over again and utterly enjoy them; the man has 'soul'. His songs have smooth grooves and he sings with conviction. The adlibs seem well thought out - neat and tidy and not over the top as is the case with some of his peers. When he's telling stories, in songs that contain that ever so popular narrative element, he does so with care and presents them in a believable fashion.”

Born Leo Moyo, K’millian has risen to the top of the Zambian music industry. 'Another Day' is K’millian’s third album, after 'My Music' and his self titled debut. He has proven why he is considered one of Zambia’s best musicians, with a third album that has taken a country by storm. Album sales of Another Day in his native Zambia have exceeded over 100, 000 copies, not to mention the flurry of radio hits that are dominating Zambian radio including:

Kakabalika featuring Bob Muli, in which he narrates the predicament of a pregnant woman who has been abandoned.

Pa Ulendo, a song praising a woman for her prayers and thoughts as he makes a journey to see her.

And Teti Nkulabe, a mid-temp song sang in Bemba and Nyanja, in which he expresses his underlying love to a significant other, before a long trip.

With the success of his album Another Day, K’millian will go down in Zambian music history as one of the most successful musicians of his generation joining the likes of fellow heavyweights like Danny, Nathan Nyirenda, and JK.
