Many of the great female vocalists of this era, and from decades past have been found in the church.  Most of them because of their convictions never leave.  The problem with this is most of them never get any recognition outside of their local community.  It is very evident upon the first listen of  “Renewal” that Katrina Morris is a vocal powerhouse. “Keep your ears and eyes open for this artist”.  My first impression when listening to “Come With Me” is “Teena Marie goes gospel!”  Shout out to Katrina Morris and her excellent team: Producer/ musician Kem Williams, Musicians Frank Cole, George Cowart, and Vocalist Jamie Karen, for collaborating to create this project.
