We are in our nineteenth season! KnightSong was formed by Pat Buonodono, Brad Ketch and Keith Duggan. These friends have been singing madrigals together in various groups since 1984. Determined to leave the “community chorus” circuit and become more professional, the three formed KnightSong in 1989.
Supported by paid performances, KnightSong performs year-round for public and private gatherings. The group also performs regularly at charitable events; in the past they have appeared on behalf of organizations such as Aid Atlanta, The Atlanta Food Bank, Scottish Rite Hospital and the Georgia Justice Project. The ensemble performed annually at the Olde English Festival in Atlanta from its inception until the Festival ended, and has performed for a number of years at the Georgia Shakespeare Festival and “Christmas Candlelight Nights” at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. KnightSong has been featured as one of twelve “Carolers of Christmas” on a popular Atlanta radio morning show, and music from its Christmas CD is played on Sirius radio during the Christmas season.
The KnightSong singers are a diverse group, but with two commonalities: first, a love of a cappella music, and second, a love of laughter. For now, we all have the proverbial “day job,” but the music helps clear our minds and reinforce our spirits after leaving the workplace. We hope it does the same for our audiences!
The CD, "A Renaissance Christmas," contains carols deriving from Renaissance Europe. The music is all performed a cappella. The purity and beauty of the voices will surely put you into the spirit of the Christmas season!

Music to soothe, music to excite
author: Daniel McDonald
Removing the electronics from the music allows for greater range of expression. These songs rock without blowing an eardrum, or set the tone to rock a baby to sleep. Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

Ditto to Kevin's review. I couldn't have said it better myself. The CD brings back the feeling of old time tradition surrounding the Christmas season with melody and harmony. Music that will allow you to reflect on the season and not how cool the guitar riff was on [insert band name here] version of [insert bubblegum xmas song here]. Can't wait until the season comes so I can get it in the household Christmas song rotation.

awesome recovery of the essence of Christmas music!
author: fr kevin peek
The world has gone crazy with renditions of Christmas songs in every genre possible, including dogs, trash cans, and punk rock bands. Hardly a fitting reflection on the nature and meaning of the season! (And possibly contributing to the craziness of the malls and roadways as well..) Enter KnightSong, with the spirit and beauty of the Renaissance, with music full of life, and christened with meaning and intent! May all be spared by such wondrous sounds!
