Album Notes

We are in our eighteenth season! KnightSong was formed by Pat Buonodono, Brad Ketch and Keith Duggan. These friends have been singing madrigals together in various groups since 1984. Determined to leave the “community chorus” circuit and become more professional, the three formed KnightSong in 1989.

Supported by paid performances, KnightSong performs year-round for public and private gatherings. The group also performs regularly at charitable events; in the past they have appeared on behalf of organizations such as Aid Atlanta, The Atlanta Food Bank, Scottish Rite Hospital and the Georgia Justice Project. The ensemble performed annually at the Olde English Festival in Atlanta from its inception until the Festival ended, and performed for a number of years at the Georgia Shakespeare Festival and “Christmas Candlelight Nights” at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.

The KnightSong singers are a diverse group, with but two commonalities: first, a love of a cappella music, and second, a love of laughter. For now, we all have the proverbial “day job,” but the music helps clear our minds and reinforce our spirits after leaving the workplace. We hope it does the same for our audiences!

The First Singers Never Used Music...
author: Jessica Meares
To hear this cd is to know tranquility and beauty. Knightsong sang some of these very songs at my wedding in 2005 and hearing songs I've known since I was 8 made that day more special. When I put on the cd now, I am reminded of how glorious the music made the day. Now, I use it to help my little baby boy fall asleep. Great CD! I'd recommend it to anyone (and have on numerous occasions!)

very moving and worth the money
author: Elizabeth Smith
To listen to this cd is to be surrounded with beautiful sound that washes over me like warm tropical breezes. Especially moving are Knightsong's renditions of Durafle's "Our Father" and Beibl's "Ave Maria." Every time I hear them, I'm uplifted. I'm reminded that, indeed, even a difficult life can be redeemed when "I Have Had Singing." This cd is definitely worth the money! Bravo, Knightsong!
