Album Notes

Often compared to My Bloody Valentine and Mogwai, Asheville, NC-based Knives & Daggers is a "semi-instrumental" band with both post-rock and shoegaze influences. Their songs feature movements, sometimes with turbulently loud guitars and sometimes with heavy orchestral strings -- sometimes with both at once. Performed by Jonathan Bass (drums), Lauren Carol Brown (guitar, strings, vocals), Bill Donaldson (bass), Bruce Rogers (guitar), and Kevin Stanford (guitar, vocals).
