Still Morning is Cliff Knizley's fourth release. Going full circle to his first solo release (Passing), Cliff has again released a collection of music that highlights his song writing abilities and his distinctive acoustic guitar styling. The bulk of material from Cliff's first and fourth releases are unaccompanied acoustic guitars, but the similar paths of the two CDs begin to separate as one listens comparatively. Where the debut CD Passing had the rough edge of a self-produced album, Still Morning shines in the production spotlight by the crystal clear studio work of Ronny Cates. Fans of complex guitar work will enjoy listening to this CD repeatedly in an attempt to figure out exactly how Cliff does what he does so well.
