KENNETH NORMAN JOHNSON
Composer – Producer – Pianist
As a pianist and international recording artist, Mr. Johnson has released more than a dozen original solo piano recordings into the world market over the past twenty years. The Natural Piano, the third release in his Woodland Series, achieved Platinum status in 1996 with the sale of well over 100,000 copies. Song For A Summer Night, a selection from Nocturne, his fourth release, was selected by Virgin Records in France to be included in a compilation that included performances by Vangelis, John Barry, Sarah Brightman, and other well known artists. Now in 2010, a new series is being introduced with the release of Soliloquy, the first in the Classique Piano collection, to be followed by three more releases in the series over the next two years.
Although he is well known as a pianist and composer of music for piano, Mr. Johnson’s original works also include Musical Stage Productions, Choral Music, Orchestral works, Documentary Film Scores, and Children’s Music. He is currently working on Masque - a new musical to be produced in 2011, The Quest - a Dramatic Oratorio, new pieces for the Classique Piano series, and a book titled Living Young.
